Nami – a designer porcelain candle inspired by a wave

Nami is a handmade soy candle in Parian porcelain and one of Kyuka Design's most sculptural pieces. Its organic form is inspired by the movement of water and Japanese aesthetics. The name "Nami" means wave in Japanese.

Designed by Stefan Staniszewski, its form shifts depending on the angle you view it from. This makes Nami not just a scented candle, but also a decorative object of contemporary Polish design.

Parian porcelain – light held within porcelain

The Nami vessel is made from Parian porcelain — a noble material with a satin surface and subtle translucency. Once lit, the thin porcelain walls gently let light through, highlighting the vessel's organic shape and creating an atmospheric glow.

Each vessel is made by hand in our studio, so individual pieces may vary slightly from one another — a natural feature of handcrafted production.

Natural soy wax and wooden wick

We fill the Nami candle with natural soy wax. The wooden wick rounds out its minimalist character and creates a pleasant atmosphere as it burns.

A sculptural object that stays after the candle is gone

Nami was designed to be an object for years to come. Once the wax is burned down, the porcelain vessel can remain in your space as a lantern, a container for jewellery or small items, or a standalone decorative object.

Incense and Amber Scent

Nami has a deep, enveloping scent of incense and amber, which underlines its calm, sculptural character. The composition opens with notes of bergamot and lavender, moving into a heart of jasmine and amber. The base is built on vanilla, musk and patchouli, giving the scent a warm, elegant, slightly oriental character.

Orders are prepared within up to 5 working days. We pour each candle with wax and your chosen fragrance oil only after you order — especially for you.

We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making sure every order is carefully prepared and securely packed.
