Recreated Gift Set: Basalt and Origami Candles with Care Accessories

About the designs:
In August 2021, on a trip exploring old porcelain factories, we found, among the rubble of a closed-down factory, damaged moulds: a cup and a bowl.
Wanting to save them from being forgotten, we recreated their shape. We designed new lids for them, inspired by the Japanese art of origami and the extraordinary character of basalt rock. This is how the cup shape became the Origami candle, and the old bouillon bowl became the Basalt candle.
Basalt and Origami are a marriage of old and new.

The vessels were designed and made in our design studio and ceramics workshop in Milanówek. Parian porcelain is exceptionally noble, resembling white marble in appearance. It feels satiny to the touch and lets light through, so a lit candle beautifully illuminates the room.

The candles are made from eco-friendly, certified, vegan soy wax, a beech wood wick, and essential or fragrance oils, whose safety is confirmed by IFRA certification.

Once the wax has burned down, the decorative vessel can serve as a jewellery box, a container for spices or cosmetics, and play a decorative role. It was designed to be useful and pleasing to the eye long after the candle has burned out.

Orders are prepared within up to 5 working days. We pour each candle with wax and your chosen fragrance oil only after you order — especially for you.

We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making sure every order is carefully prepared and securely packed.
