Duo Mug – Handmade Ceramic Mug

The Duo mug is an original design by Stefan Staniszewski, created at the Kyuka brand and made entirely in our workshop in Milanówek. Its form is built on the dialogue of two connected shapes, which together form the distinctive, sculptural handle — the signature feature of this design.

The Duo Form – Ergonomics and Sculpture in One

The most distinctive element of the Duo mug is its double handle, made of two softly joined rings. This formal gesture isn't purely aesthetic — it was designed with comfort and natural hand positioning in mind. The handle allows for different ways of holding it: with one finger, two fingers, or a full hand grip, so the mug sits well in the hand both for a quick coffee break and for longer, calm rituals.

The double handle form stabilises the mug and distributes its weight evenly. Contact with the ceramic is soft, intuitive and pleasant — no sharp edges, no tension. It's this detail that makes Duo not just good to look at, but above all good to use.

The mug is cast from ceramic in original Kyuka moulds, then hand-finished and glazed with a pink glaze. The simple, cylindrical form was deliberately paired with the expressive handle, creating a whole that is both calm and distinctive.

On the underside, on the mug's foot, you'll find a ceramic decal signed by the Kyuka workshop with the motto:
"designed for your zen moments", an expression of the brand's philosophy.

Every Duo mug is made by hand in our workshop, so individual pieces may vary slightly from one another. These subtle differences are a natural part of the handcrafting process and give each mug an individual character.
