Ki is a designer soy candle in a handmade Parian porcelain vessel. It is made in our studio in Milanówek – from the porcelain vessel to the finished candle. It is a functional object and, at the same time, a decorative piece that stays in your home long after the wax has burned away.

The name Ki means “tree” in Japanese. The simple, organic form of the candle draws on nature and the aesthetics of Japanese minimalism. Thanks to the distinctive properties of Parian porcelain, the light of the flame gently passes through the walls of the vessel, bringing out its subtle texture.

Parian porcelain – an exceptional material

We make the Ki vessel by hand from fine Parian porcelain. Its satin, velvety surface resembles white marble, and its delicate translucency gives the lit candle an exceptionally soft, warm glow.

Each piece is made in a small batch and finished by hand, so individual candles may vary slightly in texture and shade. This is a natural feature of craft production and part of the character of every Kyuka Design piece.

Natural soy wax and a wooden wick

We fill the candle with 160 g of soy wax and fit it with a wooden wick, whose gentle crackle as it burns adds to the atmosphere.

Depending on the scent you choose, Ki can become a subtle backdrop to your interior or a distinctive fragrance accent.

Burn time is approximately 30 hours.

A candle that stays with you

Once the candle has burned down, there is no need to throw away the porcelain vessel. Thoroughly cleaned, it can serve as a holder for jewellery, trinkets or cosmetics, a small lantern or a decorative object.

This way, Ki combines the roles of a scented candle, Polish craftsmanship and an everyday object that can stay with you for years.

How to burn the Ki candle properly

The first time you light it, allow the wax to melt evenly across the whole surface. Before each subsequent use, trim off the charred part of the wooden wick. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Orders are prepared within up to 5 working days. We pour each candle with wax and your chosen fragrance oil only after you order — especially for you.

We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making sure every order is carefully prepared and securely packed.
