Akebia – a sculptural candle in Parian porcelain

Akebia is a handmade soy candle in a porcelain vessel, designed by Stefan Staniszewski for Kyuka Design. Its distinctive, organic handle is inspired by the fruit of the Japanese akebia and gives the candle the form of a small sculptural object.

We make the vessel from Parian porcelain – a refined, satin-finish material reminiscent of white marble. Parian gently lets light through, so when the candle is lit, the porcelain form softly glows.

A candle that stays with you

Once the wax has burned down, there is no need to throw the Akebia porcelain vessel away. Simply wash it and reuse it as a container for jewellery, cosmetics or small treasures, or as a small decorative object.

Polish design, made by hand

Every Akebia is made in our studio and ceramics workshop in Milanówek. The porcelain forms are handmade in short runs, so subtle differences in surface and finish are a natural part of the craft process.

Orders are prepared within up to 5 working days. We pour each candle with wax and your chosen fragrance oil only after you order — especially for you.

We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making sure every order is carefully prepared and securely packed.

We pack our products in elegant gift boxes designed with aesthetics and the joy of giving in mind. Our packaging received an award in the Art of Packaging competition in the premium product packaging category — so it also works perfectly as a ready-made gift.
